Works well if you know how to use it.
The PEI side is super easy to use and has a nice fine textured surface.
The PET side however requires a lot more effort from the user to get good results.
It doesn't have good adhesion.
You need to print first layers pretty slow.
You can't really use an adhesive on the PET side since the adhesive kind of ruins the 3D effect-imprint on the part.
Therefore the only thing you can do to improve adhesion is lowering printing speed and acceleration and messing with temperatures, initial layer height and extrusion width.
This can be especially tricky if you are printing with for example a 0.2mm nozzle and let's say Silk filament.
When I was printing Silk PLA out of a 0.2mm nozzle onto 3D effect plates like these I had to significantly lower speeds and acceleration.
I also had to increase both nozzle temperature and bed temperature to pretty high values. (Keep printer door open, beware of heat creep causing extruder clog)
With regular filament or larger nozzles however, just lowering the speeds and acceleration works fine for this plate.
