I really like the ALT Resin, although it was a bit tricky to get it right in the beginning (See printing recommendations below).
Pro:
- Great printing quality (if done right)
- Very sticky
- Easy washable with ethanol
- No smell
Cons:
- Rather high exposure time needed
- Clear resin turns a tad yellow
Generally:
The resins very low viscosity is the biggest factor: Due to it it sticks much better to the printing surface (I use an Elegoo Mars Pro, which might be an important factor because of the finish of the print platform). The bottom layers I currently print with 22s exposure time (no matter if with or without raft). Secondly the low viscosity makes it very well washable in ethanol. This is not only cheaper but also more convenient and ecofriendly. You will also have less waste since most of the resin will drop back in the vat in a short amount of time - less material to be washed away.
This resin does not smell at all!
Difference between clear and black resin:
There is a significant difference when it comes to printing: The black resin will cure much faster and better then the clear one. That said it also makes the print more error prone and due to the extreme stickiness you might break parts that are not printed with rafts when removing them. I use a mixture of both resins: 1 part clear, 2 parts black which gives excellent and consistent results at the cost of higher exposure time.
Recommendation:
Resin used: mixture of 1 part clear, 2 parts black resin
Post-curing: YES (I usually do 12 - 18 min in the Anycubic Wash & Cure)
Layer height: 0.05 mm
Bottom Layer Count: 6
Exposure time: 15 s (might me reducible)
Bottom Exposure Time: 22s
Bottom Lift Distance: 8 mm
Lifting Distance 4 mm
Bottom Lift Speed: 70 mm/min

Leider habe ich kein Modell mit diesem Resin hinbekommen. Entweder war das Produkt defekt oder ich habe es einfach nicht verstanden wass das Produkt braucht aber mehr als 10sec belichtungszeit und mehr als 80 auf den Boden layer ist einfach wahnsin, vorallem wen die Konkurenz mit 3 /40 sec locker auskommt.
